Drain pickles and pat completely dry (critical for crispness).
Optional: Roll in brown sugar for a sweet crust.
Cut jerky strips in half if too long.
Wrap 1 jerky strip snugly around 1 pickle spear, starting at the middle and spiraling to the ends.
Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake 20–25 minutes, until jerky is crisp and slightly darkened.
Optional: Brush with hot sauce or honey in the last 5 minutes for extra glaze.
Let rest 2–3 minutes (they’re molten hot inside!).
Spear with toothpicks for easy grabbing.
Classic: On a platter with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping
Southern spread: Alongside pimento cheese, boiled peanuts, and cornbread
Game day: With cold beer or sweet tea
