Creamy Slow Cooker Chicken (Cream Cheese Chicken)
Ingredients
- 500–700 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 200 g cream cheese (block, full-fat or light)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp dried herbs (parsley, oregano, or Italian seasoning)
- Optional: ½ cup chicken broth (for extra sauce)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and herbs evenly over the chicken.
- Place the block(s) of cream cheese on top of the chicken.
- (Optional) Add chicken broth if you want more sauce.
- Cover and cook:
- Low: 5–6 hours, or
- High: 2.5–3 hours
- Once cooked, stir to melt the cream cheese into a smooth sauce. Shred the chicken if desired.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
