Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet
This Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet is the ultimate one-pan dinner—juicy, tender steak, perfectly crispy potatoes, and a rich garlic butter sauce that brings it all together.
Ingredients
(paragraph style):
Steak of your choice (ribeye, sirloin, or filet), baby potatoes halved, olive oil, butter, minced garlic, fresh thyme or rosemary, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley for garnish.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper, then sear for 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness) until cooked to your preferred doneness.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest.
In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and cook the halved potatoes until golden and tender, about 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, add butter, minced garlic, and fresh herbs, and toss the potatoes to coat in the garlic butter.
Return the steak to the skillet to heat through for a minute, spooning some of the garlic butter over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately for a perfectly balanced, flavorful dinner.
